I'm returning for my third season as guide for Paradise Adventure Company, and I couldn't be more excited about getting back on the river! I'm from California, where I grew up hiking, biking, and sailing along the northern coast. I love motorcycles, dogs, and (of course) rafting on the Yellowstone River. See you out on the water!.”

After lots of soul searching, Adriane Burton decided to jump off the corporate ladder and take a leap of faith into a simpler and more fulfilling way of life in Montana.
She most recently worked as the director of marketing and business development for a family law practice in Charlotte, NC and has extensive experience in marketing for corporate law and the banking industry.
She loves her family and friends, yoga, traveling, and recently developed a borderline obsession with The Carolina Panthers. Adriane doesn’t really want to discuss Super Bowl 50, but she will happily show you how to “dab.”

I grew up in the great Paradise Valley near Livingston, Montana. My passion for whitewater rafting has grown since my very first river experience as a kid. I love being on the river and sharing the experience with others. This is my third season rafting the Yellowstone River and I am ecstatic to be your guide and give you an experience of a lifetime.

I grew up on the lakes of Minnesota and after high school I moved to Hawaii where I worked on the beach and furthered my love for the water. It wasn't until I moved to Colorado a few years later that I found my love of snowboarding, hiking and mountain life in general. Other than playing outside travelling, writing, and live music are some of my favorite things and I cannot wait to get out on the river this summer!

Sophie Conroy

I am an outgoing, adventurous college graduate who loves the outdoors! I am originally from Aiea, Hawaii which is on the island of Oahu. I have been to all 50 US States as well as the District of Columbia, London, England, Paris, France, and various parts of Canada and Mexico.
However, my favorite place to visit and explore is Yellowstone National Park. It has the best features of every other great National Park in one amazing location. Nature; wildlife; thermal features; waterfalls; lakes and amazing people from around the globe! I look forward to meeting you this summer as you experience your own adventure in Yellowstone National Park!

Kate here from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania! Currently I attend the University of Vermont where I am studying environmental science, geospatial technologies, and wildlife biology! In my free time I love to bake without measuring, go on long hikes, eat ice cream, paddle boats, identify salamanders, rock climb, and spend time in my hammock!

Hello, I’m Sarah! I originally hail from the great state of Maine and am currently living in Burlington and studying Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at the University of Vermont. When I’m not geeking out about bacteria, my favorite pastimes include rock climbing, cliff jumping, mountain biking, and many other outdoor activities that mostly just make my mom nervous. I look forward to bringing my unparalleled love of mac and cheese, my affinity for killer dad-jokes, and my aptitude for good old-fashioned shenanigans to Montana! Can’t wait to see you on the water!

I grew up in Wisconsin, (yes, I LOVE the Green Bay Packers) have spent the last 10 years in Minnesota, and am finally making the move to Montana! I enjoy everything about the outdoors and spend every spare second I can hunting, fishing, hiking, kayaking, running...anything to get me outside! Leaving behind the confines of a lab and cubicle to follow my dream of working in the outdoors and meeting new people is my greatest adventure yet. I can't wait to see you all on the water!!

Derick Zepsa from North Carolina. Appalachian State University- Sustainable Technology and Economics. I've guided on 12 different river sections over the course of 6 years and logged 1000's of river miles all across the US from the Chattooga in South Carolina to the Klamath in Oregon and California.

I am born and raised in Oregon, with an active love for the outdoors and exploring the wonders of the Pacific Northwest. However my father moved to Montana 6 years ago and I fell in love with the mountains! My favorite outdoor activities include rafting, camping, hiking, and finding waterfalls. Other interests include archery, ALL animals, and playing volleyball. For the last two years I played collegiate volleyball at Lower Columbia College in Washington, while coaching girls club volleyball. I am now transferring to Western Oregon University to obtain an environmental biology degree. I can’t wait to get on the river this summer; nothing adventured, nothing attained!

I am a fun loving adventurer, currently attending Green Mountain College as an Adventure Education major. I have been exploring Montana since I was a child, and every time I return, I am awed by its beauty. I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including skiing, mountain biking, rafting, & backpacking. Montana represents a certain beauty and freedom to me that seems unmatched to any other place I've been.

Cullen MacAndrew

I was born and raised in Idaho, with an immense passion for the outdoors. I love to paddle whitewater, fly fish, mountain bike, ski, and play guitar. I study mechanical engineering at Montana State University, and I enjoy having the opportunity to learn new things everyday.

I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Mississippi State University. With Mississippi being a far cry from Montana and Yellowstone, it has long been my dream to get out west and see the rest of the nation. When I'm not thinking of ways to get west of the Great Plains, I'm exploring what the Southeast has to offer via mountain biking, kayaking, or hiking.

Can't wait for the summer!

I grew up in a military family traveling all my life living in Hawaii, California and Colorado to name a few. When I was 19, I started guiding sled dogs all over the Rockies from Aspen, Jackson Hole to Big Sky. I am an avid backpacker, fisherman, snow and river enthusiast. Although I've moved around my whole life, my families roots are from Montana. So I've always had a connection with the rivers and the mountains here in Big Sky country!

Chris McDonald

I was born and raised in southern California, where I spent all my summers either hiking, camping, or at the beach. In college I spent time studying and exploring in Brazil. I have recently relocated back to the states after working in Japan for the past two years. I'm looking forward to new adventures on the river this summer!

Namaste!
