**All of our adventures take place outdoors; therefore, we cannot guarantee trip length or size of rapids due to water flow. The weather in Southwest Montana is ever-changing and often unpredictable. Please dress accordingly.
What to wear on the Whitewater portion of your trip:
Simply dress accordingly to the weather. If it’s cooler, we have all the cold weather gear you will need. We do suggest wearing fleece, Under Armour or a synthetic material – not cotton – for under your rafting gear. On a typical hot day, we recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting wet. We provide all whitewater gear including helmets, life jackets and water shoes (if needed). You may want to bring a change of clothes, we do have changing rooms. Sunglasses and sunblock are recommended.
What to wear on the Riding portion of your trip:
Long pants and closed toed shoes are required. You will be riding at a higher elevation and through the wilderness so we do recommend taking a light jacket or sweatshirt with you. The Horseback Rides do go in the rain unless the Wranglers deem the trails are unsafe. You will need to bring your own rain gear, the ranch does not supply clothing of any type.
What should I bring on the Whitewater portion of the trip?
You are welcome to bring a water bottle on the raft with you. The trip is fast paced and will be wet, so cameras are not something you’ll want to bring. We take professional photos on every Whitewater Adventure that will be available for viewing and purchase at the Paradise Adventure Company office immediately following your exhilarating journey down the Yellowstone!
What should I bring on the Riding portion of the trip?
Each saddle has a small saddle bag for a water bottle, small camera or your jacket. Do not wear fanny packs or a large camera on your body, you could hurt yourself if you fell off the horse and onto one of these items. If you have concerns about bugs, you must put your bug spray before you leave for your ride or at your car. Do not spray bug spray around the horses.
When do I need to check in for my trip?
Check in time is a half hour (30 minutes) before your scheduled trip time.
Can small children do a Raft & Ride Adventure?
You can be inexperienced and ages 5 & older for Express Combo 7 & older for Deluxe Combo, but each rider must be capable of riding their own horse. If you have questions or concerns, please call us at 888-722-6505. Helmets available on request.
What about lunch?
Lunch vouchers for Subway will be available for the Deluxe Combo Trip. Vouchers may be redeemed anytime through the day.
