Scenic Float FAQs

What should I wear?

Simply dress accordingly to the weather!  Sunglasses, a hat and sunblock are recommended. If it’s cooler, bring something warm to wear.  Scenic floats are dry inside the boat… you simply float down the river and relax!   Your shoes are the only thing that may get wet (getting in and out of the raft), so sandals, water shoes, etc. are recommended. We do have water shoes to borrow if needed.

What should I bring?

You’re welcome to bring something to drink (no glass please), your camera, binoculars and whatever else you would like to make your trip more enjoyable. Your cell phone won’t get wet on a scenic float and many guests post photos to Facebook and Instagram or send text photos to friends and family from the middle of the Yellowstone!

When do I need to check in for my float?

Please check in 15 minutes before your trip time. Trip duration is typically 2 hours but may vary depending on flow of the river… but the views and enjoyment you get from a float are timeless!
