We have horses suitable for all levels of experience, so you can relax and enjoy the ride. For those in your group who may not wish to ride, there are a variety of scenic trails on the ranch to explore and enjoy.​
1-Hour
Trail RIDE

Embark on a unique and unforgettable experience with a one-hour horseback trail ride, located just outside Yellowstone National Park's North Entrance in the Absaroka-Beartooth Mountain Wilderness.

Professional wranglers carefully select and train our friendly horses to provide a safe and enjoyable ride for guests of all experience levels, ages 7 and older.

During the one-hour ride you'll journey through the heart of Montana's natural beauty, taking in breathtaking views of mountains, forests, streams, and meadows. Our team of wranglers will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the region's flora and fauna, and to share their knowledge and passion for the land.

Guests must check-in at the ranch 30-minutes before their ride and are responsible for their transportation. Depart Gardiner an hour in advance and plan on a scenic 30-minute drive on a gravel.
2-Hour
GROUP RIDE

Reserved for groups of 6 and more, This longer ride is best suited for riders looking for a physical adventure who are aged 7 and up. On this two-hour ride you'll have the opportunity to truly explore the stunning landscapes of the Absaroka-Beartooth Mountain Wilderness just outside of Yellowstone National Park's North Entrance.

With a variety of routes and trails to choose from, we can customize each trip to fit your needs/interests. Our team of wranglers will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the region's flora and fauna, and to share their knowledge and passion for the land.

Saddle up and experience a Wild West tradition! Join us for an evening at a working ranch with a 1-hour trail ride, guided by our expert wranglers and after the ride enjoy a traditional all-you-can-eat, Cowboy Cookout. The meal is hearty, home-cooked, and includes dishes such as grilled meats, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, salads, cornbread, and traditional Western fare.
Vegetarian options available with prior request.
Guests are invited to sit around the campfire or at picnic tables under the large gazebo. It's a great opportunity to gather with friends, family, or fellow travelers, and enjoy a delicious all-you-can-eat meal under Montana’s big sky. End the evening relaxing and roasting marshmallows, while taking in the natural beauty around you.

To ensure your safety & comfort, please wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and dress appropriate for the weather. When it's warm in town, it's cooler in the mountains.
You may bring your own beer or wine, but please drink responsibly. There are no Ubers to call, and trust us, the mules are lousy designated drivers!

Directions
To The Ranch
Drive through Gardiner to the Conoco Gas Station. Across the street, turn up the hill to Jardine. Drive for 5 miles and turn right to follow the signs for Hell's-A-Roarin' Outfitters.

TO BRING​
Feel free to bring a water bottle and a camera, but please note that cameras should preferably have a strap, and you assume any risk associated with bringing personal belongings.
