What should I wear on my whitewater trip? Simply dress accordingly to the weather. Sunglasses and sunblock are recommended. If it’s cooler, we do have cold water/weather gear which is included in your trip. We provide all whitewater gear including water shoes, life jackets and a helmet. We recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting wet. You may want to bring a change of clothes, we do have changing rooms at both our locations.
What should I bring? You are welcome to bring a water bottle on the raft with you. The trip is fast paced and wet, cameras are not something you’ll want to bring… but we take professional photos on every whitewater adventure that will be available for viewing and purchase at the Paradise Adventure Company office after your exhilarating journey down the Yellowstone!
When do I need to check in for my trip? Whether you’re rafting from our Gardiner/North Entrance to Yellowstone Office or our Chico Hot Springs Resort Office, the check in time is 30 minutes before your scheduled trip time.
Is lunch included? Lunch is included on 18 Mile Whitewater Adventures and Raft and Ride Adventures. *If someone in your party has food allergies or a special diet, please let us know at the time of your booking and we can make adjustments for their lunch.
How big are the rapids on the Yellowstone River? The stretch of Yellowstone River we run has Class II and III rapids. These are rolling rapids, we do not have any waterfalls or drops. The rapids are biggest early in the season (May & June) after the snow melts and slow down throughout the late summer and fall. Please call us the day before your adventure if you would like to get an estimate on the river class and length of your trip.
Please note: Length of our trips are estimates!
The Yellowstone River is undammed and free flowing so what ever Mother Nature gives us is what we get! We can promise an amazing time in one of the most beautiful places in The World and an Adventure to remember.
*We do not cancel due to rain, you will get wet on the Whitewater anyway. If you cancel after the 48 hour cancellation policy or do not show up, you will be charged for your trip.
Please call us if you have any questions or concerns about the current weather or river conditions. Be sure to speak with a staff member if you need to cancel or change your reservation, voicemails will not be counted as a valid cancellation.
**Our minimum per trip is 4 people. If you are a party of 3 or less we will do our best to match you with another group or you may pay for 4 spots on the raft. If you are here in the early season, during high water, we do have the right to cancel a trip for safety reasons.
If you have any questions about this policy please call us at 888-722-6505 or email us at email@example.com
